Reconditioned stairlifts in the North West
Stair Mobility offers fully refurbished straight and curved stairlifts across Lancashire and the North West. Compare nearly-new options at a free technician home survey.
Based in Tarleton, we help you discuss prices, suitability and aftercare without pressure to buy, whether you are enquiring for yourself or a relative.

Nearly-new stairlift prices
Fully refurbished straight stairlifts start from £995 fitted. Our nearly-new curved options include Stannah 260 stairlifts from £2,695 and Flow 2 stairlifts from £3,950.
These are starting prices, subject to survey, suitability and available stock. Your quote confirms the stairlift, required installation work and final price. See new and nearly-new prices together. When comparing quotations, check what each includes as well as the headline cost.
What does reconditioned mean?
Our nearly-new range is fully refurbished. These are previously used stairlifts, rather than brand-new units. Ask which model is being quoted, what refurbishment has been completed and what warranty and servicing terms apply to that unit.
The shape of your staircase still matters. A continuous straight flight and stairs with turns need different solutions. Our straight stairlift and curved stairlift pages explain the difference. A low starting price alone does not establish whether a particular lift will fit.
Your questions answered
Can I get a nearly-new curved stairlift?
Yes. We offer refurbished Stannah 260 and Flow 2 curved options. The model and rail requirements must suit your staircase, and stock can change. A home survey is the starting point.
Is a warranty included?
Our stairlifts have a minimum 12-month warranty, with the specific terms set out in your quote. Warranty conditions include annual servicing, which is chargeable. Ask about exclusions and ongoing costs before ordering.
Can a refurbished stairlift be fitted quickly?
Fast fitting may be possible for a suitable straight model in stock. Your installation date depends on the survey, availability and diary. Curved installations have additional rail requirements, so ask for an estimate for your staircase.
Can I compare new and nearly-new options?
Yes. Tell us your budget and priorities when you enquire. We can discuss the available options during the free survey so you can compare suitability, the quoted price and aftercare costs.
